RKN has confirmed that the transfer of payment information to Telegram will be limited to 11:40 pm

The Telegram messenger is included in the list of foreigners, and since the spring of this year it is planned to limit the transfer of payment information, the information was confirmed by Roskomnadzor. It has been reported DEA News.

“As the main criterion for classifying a computer program as foreign messengers … some organizations in Russia will be prohibited from using such messengers to transfer payment documents …” – informed the RKN.

According to the agency, the restrictions will also affect the provision of personal data for a number of services on the Telegram platform. Other details on the background of future restrictions are not specified.

From the list of foreigners operating on the Internet in Russia, it seems that the Telegram messenger was included on November 22, 2021.

Earlier it was known that RKN. will take into account Telegram to foreign messengers since March 1 this year. It turned out that the restrictions will also affect the banks.
