“Many users are transferring money to players for game streams. For 10 months of 2022, the turnover of donations on the UStream platform reached about 39 million rubles. That’s 20% more than the same period last year,” YuStream said.

The study concludes that the number of people paying for streamers in Russia has also increased by 6%. At the same time, the average donation amount increased by 3% – now 341 rubles.

According to DonationAlerts, another donation platform, the volume of monetary compliments to leading game publishers increased by 27% in 2022. At the same time, the average check increased by 20% to 288 rubles.
