Microsoft developers have released update KB5020044 that resolves a bug that causes performance degradation in games on the Windows 11 operating system. Boundary.
Microsoft initially suspended the distribution of the Windows 11 22H2 update and advised users not to install it manually. The company did not directly disclose which games slowed down in Windows 11.
The update can now be downloaded and installed along with the KB5020044 package available through Windows Update.
Microsoft officially recognized Ask in early November. Users who installed the 22H2 update on Windows 11 were actively complaining about the decrease in the performance of their computers in games.
The bug was that the games accidentally enabled GPU performance debugging features that were not intended for use by PC owners.
