Which 2022 World Cup games in Qatar are free to watch on La 1, TVE, and Teledeporte in Spain

Spain would have open access to several World Cup games this year, with Televisión Española providing live coverage from Spain for many matches. The overall 64-match event will still require subscription channels such as Movistar and GOL Mundial for some fixtures.

Confirmed free-to-air matches on TVE include:

Thursday, December 1, 16:00 CET: Croatia vs Belgium

Thursday, December 1, 20:00 CET: Spain vs Japan

Friday, December 2, 20:00 CET: Cameroon vs Brazil

TVE

Public television screens the opening game and a selection from each of the seven remaining groups in the group stage, four matches from the round of 16, two quarterfinals, both semifinals, and the final.

Spain’s matches are accessible live and free via The 1 channel of Spanish television, and the broadcast is compatible with devices and televisions without issue. Viewers can also follow the clash through streaming on RTVE.es, the official site of Radio Televisión Española, and via RTVE Play, the corporation’s app. Additionally, Teledeporte, as the sports channel from the same public broadcaster, will carry additional matches.

Nevertheless, not every game is available on TVE. The full slate of 64 matches will also appear on Gol and Movistar, with some matches broadcast on an exclusive channel created specifically for the World Cup.

WORLD GOAL

On the other hand, Mediapro has launched a streaming option for World Cup games called Gol Mundial. The service requires a single payment of 19.99 euros to create an account, after which all 64 matches can be watched live.

Movistar +

Movistar+ offers a variety of flexible options for access. The Fusion package combines television channels with fiber and, in some plans, mobile lines, giving customers several routes to suit their needs. The World Cup can be viewed on any device with an internet connection through the Movistar+ app or the platform’s official website.

Every weekly lineup is accessible on multiple devices thanks to an electronic key. For more information, see see.movistarplus.es. The Movistar+ app is available for iOS on the App Store and for Android on Google Play, and apps are also available on smart TVs. The service is designed to match different consumer preferences.

All matches are accessible live from any location with internet access. In addition, replays and on-demand viewing are available so fans can watch games at their convenience.
