The organizers stressed that Valieva’s name was not on the finalized roster for the competition, and no further changes to the lineup were expected before the start. A second source within the publication noted that Lyudmila Fursova, listed as the first reserve, has already begun her Spartakiad preparations and remains ready to step in should any participant withdraw.
