The Valencia Court acknowledged the criminal complaint filed by Libertad VCF against the board on May 19, and the entire Valencia Executive Board was named in the proceeding. The members listed include Anil Kumar Murthy, Sir Miang Ng, See Hiang Chang, Khirn Hai Alvin Yeo, Kim Huat Koh, Ho Chee (Raymond) Cheah, Khojama Kalimuddin, and Joey Matthias Lim.

The information requested by Libertad VCF and its members concerns loans capitalized by Meriton Holdings and the distinct premium value of 14 euros attached to capital increases discussed at that meeting.
On May 26, the judge addressed Murthy and Valencia’s lawyer as President of the Council, requesting clarity from the parties involved and urging proper reporting through representation. The attorney for the president and Valencia, linked to Germán Cabrera’s law firm, was expected to report the remainder of the procedure due to professional ties. Until that point, the proceedings continued in what appeared to be a routine course.
What surprised the court on May 31 was a document presented by Anil and Valencia’s lawyer, indicating an inability to communicate with the other board members. This development raised questions about access and communication within the governance structure of the club.
