The contest, witnessed by 10,193 fans at the VTB Arena in Moscow, ended with the visiting team prevailing 5:4 in overtime.
Eric O’Dell, Dmitry Rashevsky, and corseter Jordan Veal found the back of the net for Torpedo, while Maxim Fedotov, Anton Sizov, and Sergei Goncharuk each pounded the Dynamo defense, delivering two goals apiece in the match.
Daniil Bokun, the Belarusian forward, delivered the decisive overtime winner to seal the victory for Nizhny Novgorod.
With this outcome, the series stood at a balanced 2-2 as the teams head into the pivotal fifth game. The next meeting is scheduled for March 10 at the Nagorny recreation center in Nizhny Novgorod, with the opening puck dropping at 19:30 Moscow time.
