The Spanish national team unveiled its season kit lineup, with Luis Enrique’s squad prepared to wear the new designs across the upcoming campaign. The 2022 World Cup is set to be held in Qatar from November, and the kit rollout aligns with that global showcase. The primary look features a deep red jersey accented with navy detailing, while the secondary outfit arrives in a lighter blue tone that complements the home colorway.

The first jersey honors national colors with a navy base and red accents. The shield and the manufacturer logo appear in yellow, and the Spanish flag colors are visible at the neckline, emphasizing a proud emblem of the nation.

With these garments from adidas, Spain aims to compete with vigor in the World Cup, signaling ambition and teamwork on the field. The team intends to transform these uniforms into iconic symbols of national pride, a message reflected in the promotional materials and social posts released during the reveal. Adidas and the federation communications marked the occasion with official statements.

Spain will also present a light blue away kit featuring a gradient jacket that creates softly waving shapes, rather than a solid color. The design stands out for its dynamic, undulating graphic inspired by the country’s brand identity from 1982, a nod to Spain hosting the world’s largest football tournament in the past.

The official jerseys and related apparel will be available through adidas official outlets and the Royal Spanish Football Federation, along with authorized online retailers. The launch aligns with adidas’ broader World Cup rollout and the federation’s long-standing collaboration with the German brand.

In line with sustainability goals, the kit is produced from 100 percent recycled polyester, reflecting adidas’ commitment to reducing plastic waste. Adidas notes that Authentic kits worn by teams such as Argentina, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Spain include significant recycled materials and Ocean plastic from Parley in certain editions, underscoring environmental responsibility in modern athletic apparel.

During the same unveiling window, Adidas highlighted other national team kits scheduled for Qatar 2022, including Argentina, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Wales alongside Spain. Senior Design Director Jürgen Rank discussed the design process, emphasizing that these jerseys are crafted to become part of football history, blending performance with bold, memorable aesthetics.

Rank emphasized that the primary aim is to equip players with apparel that supports peak performance while delivering a distinctive look that excites fans globally. The focus is on bold, unique designs that remain unforgettable, and the designs are meant to capture the spirit of modern football while respecting the heritage of Spanish football.
