Who is the top winner of the South American Sub-20?

Brazil holds the record for most titles, having lifted the trophy 11 times. The nation has also finished as runners-up on seven occasions. Its inaugural triumph came in 1974, and its most recent win was in 2011, leaving a gap of several years without the championship. Uruguay ranks second with eight titles, while Argentina sits in third with five. Paraguay and Ecuador each own one title, and Chile, Venezuela, Peru, and Bolivia have yet to reach the summit.
