Second RFEF Group 3: Clubs, structure, and season outlook

Representatives of clubs taking part in the second RFEF telex vote on Monday confirmed the grouping for the 2022-2023 season. The arrangement remains provisional, contingent on each category meeting its requirements, with all 90 clubs awaiting confirmation of their registration in the competitions. By a wide margin, the proposal presented by the RFEF was approved, receiving 62 votes in favor and 28 against. The decision places Hercules back in Group 3, where the team will join the ranks already familiar with Second B history. As a result, Hercules will no longer face Murcia, Andalusia, and Castile-La Mancha opponents and instead will compete against Catalan, Balearic, and Aragon clubs.
