El Millonario welcomes a home game to start the year and will debut the new Monumental grandstands in front of their fans.
The moment has arrived. After nearly a year of renovations, River will officially open the upgraded Monumental stands when they host Argentinos Juniors on Sunday, February 12, marking their first home match of 2023. In advance of this premiere, the club outlined how ticket sales would unfold.
River’s 2023 schedule in full
With the refurbishment phase at the Monumental nearing completion and the 12,000 season tickets that went on sale on February 1 selling out within about ninety minutes, River Plate supporters who did not secure a season seat will still find opportunities to purchase the limited remaining entries for each home match played by Martín Demichelis’ squad.
The club did not disclose the exact number of tickets allocated for the game against Argentinos Juniors, but it did share the sale process and timing in detail.
WHEN TICKETS FOR RIVER – ARGENTINOS JRS.
Ticketing for the clash between River Plate and Argentinos Juniors will be handled through RiverID in three priority phases.
- Full members without Tu Lugar access in the Monumental can buy their tickets starting next Monday, February 6 at 10 a.m.
- Somos River members can purchase from the following day, Tuesday, February 7 at 10:00 a.m.
- Any remaining seats, if any, will go on sale to non-members on Wednesday the 8th.
After completing the purchase, supporters must pick up their ticket at the Monumental box office on Friday the 10th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or on Saturday the 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
