Real Madrid coach Pablo Laso was released from the hospital on Tuesday after suffering a myocardial infarction early last Saturday. He will continue to be treated at the University Hospital of Sanitas La Moraleja, where the medical team confirmed the update on their social networks.
“I’m home now and feeling pretty good. Life gave me a warning, and I was lucky,” Laso wrote on his Twitter profile, posting a photo of himself in his car.
He also told the doctors that he is stronger than five days ago and expressed a strong desire to return to work soon. “I am strong and I want to come back as soon as possible,” he added.
I’m home now and I feel fine.
I was lucky that life gave me a warning.
As the doctor told me yesterday, I am better than 5 days ago.

In a post on social media, Laso also thanked the supporters and acknowledged the care provided by the medical team at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital. The message underlined the significance of timely medical attention and the professionalism of the hospital staff in guiding his recovery.
Real Madrid’s manager faced a health scare that led to his admission to the intensive care unit following a catheterization. His condition has shown positive signs, allowing the transfer from intensive care to a standard care unit on Monday, and then to leave the hospital and return home on Tuesday morning.
Last Saturday, Laso was on the sideline as his team played the Endesa League playoff game against Bitci Baskonia at the WiZink Center, securing a 83-71 victory and taking a 2-0 lead in the series. Despite the win, the coach was unable to participate in the third game scheduled for Tuesday, with his assistant Chus Mateo stepping in to lead the white squad on the bench.
