Igor Osinkin, head coach of Samara’s Wings of the Soviets, spoke in an interview with Nobel Arustamyan about the challenge of handling stress and its impact on his habits.
The 58-year-old specialist opened up about how anxiety drives his eating. He explained that he enjoys food, yet often cannot regulate his intake, a tendency he regards as a personal weakness. Diet plans have brought mixed results; sometimes they work, other times they do not. He notes that the current period has been trying, leading to a slight increase in his weight. There has been little time to address it, but he anticipates that the offseason offers an opportunity to shed pounds quickly.
In the Russian Premier League standings, Krylya Sovetov has spent 18 matchweeks in operation and currently sits sixth with 29 points. The Samara club managed to stay within the top three for five straight rounds, signaling consistent performance across that stretch.
Krasnodar entered the winter break at the top of the table with 38 points. During the 18th round, Vladimir Ivich’s squad beat CSKA 1-0. Zenit trails in second place, two points behind, while Dinamo sits third with 32 points.
Earlier reports indicated that the coach was in Sochi. He did not accept transfers of Erokhin and Chistyakov from Zenit.
