The RTX 4090 graphics card turned out to be quite thick, comparable in size to the Xbox Series S. In a few minutes, at 6:00 PM Moscow time, the NVIDIA GeForce Beyond presentation began, with the audience awaiting a fresh lineup of RTX 40 graphics cards. The focus was on the most compelling new products from the event.
GPU Ada Lovelace
The new graphics processors are built on the Ada Lovelace architecture, bringing a leap in performance and efficiency.
The design features 76 billion transistors and 18,000 CUDA cores, surpassing the previous generation by more than 70 percent. Peak throughput is described as up to 90 teraflops.
DLSS 3.0
DLSS 3.0 introduces advanced frame generation and anti-aliasing, delivering higher frame rates and smoother visuals. Rather than enlarging pixels, it creates new frames to boost performance, with demonstrations showing substantial gains in demanding titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
RTX Remix
RTX Remix was showcased as a free platform for game modding, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse. It enables enhancements to textures, ray tracing, and DLSS 3 plus Reflex support. Real-world demonstrations included modifications to classic titles such as The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind and Mount & Blade. RTX Remix is slated for release in November 2022.
