Who are the narrators and commentators for La 1 on TVE during the Qatar 2022 World Cup matches in Spain
TVE plans to offer several matches from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar free of charge, including the opening match, every game played by the Spanish national team, the semi finals and the final.
The Spanish public channel will stream the games on La 1, and will also present exclusive content on its sports channel Teledeporte and on the website rtve.es.

The event will be led by veteran journalist and storyteller Juan Carlos Rivero, a familiar voice for audiences during live broadcasts over the last twenty years. Rivero will be joined by well known former Spanish internationals Iker Casillas, Andrés Iniesta, Albert Ferrer, Carlos Marchena and Santi Cazorla, who will provide insights and analysis for each match.
In addition, RTVE notes two special programs: a live report from Qatar at 2pm hosted by Marcos Lopez, and an overnight telecast with Paco Caro offering summaries of daily matches from 10pm to 11pm.
RTVE also explains that a substantial production team will travel to Doha, with 73 staff coordinating live coverage; another crew of 37 will work from Torrespaña and the San Cugat studios, operating from multiple locations including a setup near the University of Qatar that showcases the national team training and concentration camp, with scenes reflecting the team’s activities in the background, and an outdoor terrace in Doha Bay capturing the city skyline.
