Kerzhakov Linked to Sabail and Other Coaching Prospects

Former Russian national team footballer and former Paris NN coach Alexander Kerzhakov may continue his coaching career at the Azerbaijani club Sabail. This development has been reported by Sport Express.

There has been no official comment yet. When there is new information, fans and observers will be informed promptly. In conversations with Sabail, Kerzhakov avoided committing to a specific timeline for any potential move.

Earlier rumors suggested that Kerzhakov could take the helm at Sheriff Tiraspol, but the offer from Pridnestrovie did not proceed to completion.

At present, Kerzhakov is without a club. He previously served as head coach of Paris Nizhny Novgorod in the previous season, guiding the team to an eleventh place finish in the Russian Premier League. The club chose not to renew his contract during the off-season, and leadership subsequently passed to Mikhail Galaktionov.

There were reports from Konstantin Genich on November 7 indicating Kerzhakov as a candidate for the head coach position at Sochi. Media outlets noted that Sochi had dismissed Vadim Garanin, but the club had not publicly confirmed the development at that time.
