During the ensuing brawl, the Russian midfielder Dolev Khazize was slapped by the player, a detail highlighted by the outlet.
The Football Federation of Israel is pursuing an aggravated-fighting charge against Suleimanov. The prosecutor has requested a lengthy suspension, and observers note that the upcoming match with Maccabi Haifa could mark Suleimanov’s final appearance for Hapoel Beersheva, at least under the current loan agreement.
Shapi Suleimanov rose through the Krasnodar academy, earning a debut in the Russian Premier League in 2017. At that time, he became the youngest academy graduate to appear in an official match, a milestone he still carries.
