Elche will host Tenerife in a friendly on July 29 at Martinez Valero
The Elche CF camp confirmed on Tuesday that a pre-season friendly is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, with Tenerife as the opponent. Tenerife is a club racing toward the upper reaches of the second division, and the clash is seen as a test for the Franciverde side as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
The match is set to take place at the Martinez Valero stadium, marking the first official-friendly played on Elche’s home pitch during the current preparations. Efforts to rejuvenate the grass are progressing well, aided by favorable warm conditions that have helped grass growth. The company responsible for grounds maintenance, Césped, along with the Juan Ángel Romero Sports City team, has approved the decision to host the game at the Elche Coliseum complex, ensuring suitable facilities for the fixture.
Elche will face Tenerife in a friendly match scheduled for July 29.
