Elche Skating Club earns 14 medals at the International Open Skate event

Elche Skating Club earned 14 medals at the Fourth International Open Skate, organized by Club Roller Dream in Huesca. The event took place at the IES Pirámide sports center last week and drew more than 90 skaters from 10 clubs across the first and second national leagues, with a sizable crowd in attendance.

According to the club, its skaters delivered an excellent performance, with 19 participants securing eight golds, three silvers, and three bronzes across the respective categories.

Category 2a National:

Gold was won by the female Benjamin Helena Matillas Matas, with Emma Rocamora Motil taking silver. The young woman Carlota Scolds Carter earned gold in Alevin, while Daniela Moya Piera claimed gold in the child category. Naomi Pascual Paredes secured a bronze in Female Cadet, with Emma Gonzales Rodriguez also in bronze in the same group.

Category 1a National:

Odil Sanz Welding completed the youngest women’s division with a gold, followed by Rocio Alonso in the female cub division with another gold.

Sandra Gonzales Rodriguez won silver among the Benjamin group, mirroring Miguel Santoyo Aldaguer from the children’s team. Carla Martinez earned bronze, alongside Emila Barkun in the baby girl and adult categories.

The Open also finalized the scoring for the National Skating Rink, awarding Odil Sanz Lafuente gold in the youngest category of the national league, Rocío Alonso López gold in the juniors, Sofía Bernal Crespo bronze in the juniors, and Noelia Campillo Matas bronze in the student category of the national league.
