Elche Nearing the Promotion Play-Offs

Elche CF is hitting a strong patch this season after a rocky start. The Franjiverde side has found form, going six matches without defeat and collecting fourteen points from a possible eighteen. This surge places the team just two points outside the promotion play-offs and six behind direct promotion to the First League, signaling a real charge in the campaign.

Elche Moves Closer to the Promotion Play-Off Positions

Elche’s management emphasizes keeping the line of communication open between the squad and its supporters. In a recent announcement, the club revealed its plan to subsidize part of the travel costs for fans heading to the next big clash. The upcoming match is set for Saturday, November 18, at 21:00, at the Stage Front Stadium, where Elche will face a relegation-haunted rival and a team with similar ambitions for a top-six finish. The visiting side is Cornellà-El Prat, a team based in Barcelona and another established candidate to push for promotion. Currently, the two clubs sit only a couple of points apart, so a win for Elche would not only close the gap but could swing the balance in favor of the Franjiverdes, making a top-six finish more tangible with each passing week.

The club notes a remarkable unity between the fans and the team, calling it a moment when collective backing can be decisive. The leadership sees this as a chance to keep encouraging and strengthening the bond that drives performances on the pitch.

To support the supporters, the club will cover part of the travel cost. Specifically, each bus ticket will be subsidized so that fans can attend without bearing the entire cost. The plan is designed so that supporters pay a reduced price of twenty-five euros for the bus and fifteen euros for an entrance in the Away Fans section of the Promenade Stadium, with the club contributing forty euros toward the overall bus fare. The aim is to maximize the number of followers able to travel to Barcelona, recognizing that this is a pivotal moment for the team and its supporters alike.

Following this initiative, the club hopes to see as many fans as possible joining the trip to Barcelona, understanding that both players and supporters need to respond with energy and unity to seize the opportunity ahead.
