Elche CF unveils centenary kit during a symbolic city presentation
this Elche CF on Tuesday afternoon revealed one of the best kept secrets fans have eagerly awaited, including the kit itself and the first jersey of the Centenary season. In a city landmark, the garden of Huerto del Cura and the Imperial Palm Grove stood as a backdrop for the first team players including Lucas Boy and Ezekiel Ponce, alongside the women’s squad figure Maria Perez Cases. For the first time, they modeled and wore the new exclusive apparel.

The main feature is the distinctive green stripe that marks the Elche kit. Nike and the club aimed to nod to a hundred years of heritage by weaving a composition of a hundred stripes of varying thickness into a single design. The kit carries the company’s logo TM Real Estate Group as the main sponsor.

Elche’s new skin presents a round neck in gold with sleeve details, and the fringe remains on the front as in previous seasons. The back is white, with player names and numbers in gold as well.
The back of the kit is white and the names and numbers are gold. The kit features the Elche shield and the Nike signature logo on the front and the Centenary logo on the back.
The club president, Joaquin Buitrago, oversaw the presentation, which included an address from Miguel Ors, a professor at Miguel Hernandez University. Ors recalled Elche’s century-long history and noted that the city’s first football match took place on August 8. Huerto del Cura and the Imperial Palm Tree were highlighted as city symbols, where the habanera tune first premiered, and the crowd sang the local anthem as the players took the field.

The event had a highly emotional and attentive atmosphere, with a string band marking the moments of the occasion. Attendance was limited to about a hundred guests, including notable figures, city officials, sponsors, former directors, and representatives of fan groups who were invited to celebrate the moment. The club shared invitations with Peñas and other supporters, while a few guests from the city council and provincial authorities attended the ceremony.

Nino, a long-time voice of the club, did not miss the moment, alongside the team captains Fidel Chaves, Edgar Badia and Josan Ferrandez. Gonzalo Verdú could not attend due to an adductor issue.
Bragarnik and Francisco, none
The main absentees included owner Christian Bragarnik at the Martínez Valero stadium as talks continued to complete the squad and coach Francisco Rodriguez. The technical secretary Sergio Mantecon was available and answering calls throughout the event. After the presentation, attendees posed for photos with the team beside the Imperial Palm Grove.
