Russian rhythmic gymnast Daria Dubova shared a new post on her Instagram page, a platform that has faced scrutiny following actions by its parent company. The post features the athlete at the edge of a beach, wearing a leopard-print two-piece swimsuit and striking a pose with arms raised from the elbows toward the head.
Dubova, who earned the 2014 Youth Olympic Games title and claimed the 2013 European Championship in group routines, is 25 years old and holds the status of international master of sports. She joined the senior Russian rhythmic gymnastics squad in 2015 and concluded her participation with the national team three years later.
Her career highlights include a bronze medal in aesthetic gymnastics at the World Championships in 2018.
On March 4, 2022, the International Gymnastics Federation announced a ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes from events held under its umbrella, effective March 7, in response to the conflict in Ukraine. Although some sanctions were revised in 2024, Russian gymnasts have continued to compete primarily within domestic venues.
Previously, another Russian gymnast, Dina Averina, posted recent beach photography.
