The team, already making noise in domestic cups and European competitions, earned the recognition of a strong performance that reflected strategic depth, teamwork, and leadership from the coaching staff. The season closed with a celebratory moment where the squad received three individual awards along with the head coach, highlighting a well-rounded and cohesive organization dubbed the “Whole Startup Team.”
Nicole Morales earned the top goalkeeper accolade, a testament to consistent performance and shot-stopping reflexes that stood out even among members of the Spanish national team. From Costa del Sol Malaga, Merche Castellanos claimed the honor as the season’s best goalkeeper. Danila So Delgado secured the best left-back award, surpassing the league’s leading scorer, Michaela Casasola, as a standout contributor in offense from the left flank. Maria Flores emerged as the best defender, collecting votes to outrank notable contenders from Argentina, echoing a vote tally that reflected lasting impact over the two-season span. Rocio Campigli, representing Costa del Sol Malaga, was recognized as a vital defender whose performances anchored the defense.
