London Arsenal their official website announced that the club would not take part in the Super League.

We will continue to compete in UEFA competitions and cooperate with other European clubs and the European Club Association, the statement said.

On December 21, the European Court ruled that the decision by FIFA and UEFA to ban the Super League was illegal, accusing the organizations of abusing their dominant position by applying rules that clashed with established competition and freedom to provide services.

On the night of April 19, 2021, the Super League project was launched by a group led by English clubs Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham, along with Spanish giants Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid. Within days, most clubs withdrew from the competition, including Italy’s Inter, Milan, and Juventus.

Arsenal sits at the top of the British Championship standings with 39 points, underscoring the club’s strong domestic performance this season.

Questions remained about whether other Russian clubs would join the Super League and how that would reshape European football’s power balance.
