Stanislav Agkatsev, the Krasnodar goalkeeper, commented on the climbing cost of eggs in Russian stores. His remarks were captured for Bookmaker rating, reflecting a wider concern among fans about everyday living costs.
Eggs priced at 150 rubles drew a sharp reaction. Agkatsev noted that such a price tag is beyond the means of many families, stressing that people in the country are not affluent enough to buy eggs at that level.
Earlier, Zenit defender Danil Krugovoy also spoke about the same issue, highlighting a broader trend of rising prices across essentials.
Krugovoy pointed out that the cost of staples has surged. He mentioned bread now costs around 100 rubles, a significant jump from earlier prices. He conveyed concern that wages have not kept pace with these increases, creating financial pressure for ordinary households.
Agkatsev began his football journey in his hometown of Vladikavkaz. In the summer of 2015, he joined the Krasnodar Academy. He made his first appearance for the senior squad on February 25, 2021, in an away Europa League playoff match against Dinamo Zagreb. In the current season, Agkatsev has appeared in one league match for Krasnodar.
During the Russian Premier League season, Krasnodar spent 18 rounds in the first part of the campaign, leading the table with 38 points before the winter break. Zenit sat in second place, two points behind, while Dinamo rounded out the top three with 32 points.
