In the Testsassemblages, Windows 11 24H2 discovered a new part that helps users understand whether their computer meets the requirements of modern games. The function available in the “System” section analyzes the amount of ram and video fairs, which gives simple recommendations.
According to sources, the update is already being tested in the Insider program and in the coming weeks it will become available to everyone. A section with frequently asked questions (FAQ) answers, for example, to requests such as “Do I have enough video job for games?” Or “Can I start a photo editor with 8 GB RAM?” Answers are generated based on the current PC characteristics.

For example, if the system has less than 4 GB video memory, Windows will warn that this might not be enough for “heavy” games. For PC without a discreet video card, the section will explain what GPU is and how its absence influences the performance. And users with 4 GB RAM will advise not to risk the launch of demanding applications.
The idea is useful for beginners who are bad at home in the “gland”. In the current form, however, the section only includes basic questions – for example, does not explain how you can choose a video card or increase the volume of RAM. It is expected that the final version of the update will appear until the end of the year in stable assemblies of the OS. It is not yet clear whether new topics will be added to the FAQ, for example tips for choosing a processor or optimizing streaming settings.
