Intel is actively moving in the development of graphic gears. According to the latest data, the architecture of the XE3 Celestial, designed for future arch video cards, has been switched to the provisional test phase. With this process, engineers and partners can evaluate the work of the GPU through cloud platforms, which speeds up the elimination of potential shortcomings.
According to sources, Intel uses programmable microcircuits (FPGA) to simulate the work of heavenly work. This enables manufacturers of equipment and developers to adjust their products in advance to new architecture, without waiting for prepared samples. Now the most important attention is paid to setting up energy consumption and frequencies in different modes – from the minimum load to peak performance. According to insiders, tests treat all possible use options, including mobile devices and discreet video cards.
If the provisional check -phase is successful, the chips test batches can be released in the coming months. According to plans, serial production of XE3 Celestial does not start until the end of 2025.
Parallel, Intel prepares the ARC Battlemage B770 video card for exit. According to Intel Asian Partners, the announcement can take place at the end of May as part of the Computex 2025 exhibition. It has been reported that the BMG-G31 chips, which underlie this model, have already been delivered to the Intel factory in Vietnam. The B770 is expected to occupy a position in the average price segment, competing with the Radeon RX 9060 and the GeForce RTX 5060.
Earlier, the company already introduced B570 and B580 models, which received positive reviews for the price ratio. The new card will apparently be the next step in strengthening Intel positions in the discreet graphic market. However, the company has not yet announced the exact deadlines for the output of the products, and notes that the final solutions will depend on the test results and market conditions.
