Zalman announced the updated version of the Z10 DS housing, equipped with an unusual solution-a removable 15.6-inch display. The model retained the functionality of the classic MIDI tower, but received an extra screen that can be used as an autonomous monitor.
The built -in panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels is attached to the front panel of the housing. To connect to PC, the Mini HDMI cable is used and the power is performed via USB-C. The screen supports the standard business mode of the second monitor, with which you can flexibly configure the interface without limitations in the part of the third software. If necessary, the panel is easily removed and installed on the table using a standard confirmation and a conventional cover is mounted in place to improve the ventilation.
Z10 DS retained the basic characteristics of the line: support for the ATX and Micro-ATX mother plates, the possibility to install video cards up to 395 mm long and processor coolers with a height of 173 mm. The internal space comprises compartments for two 3.5 “/2.5” discs and two 2.5 “SSD. Three slots are provided for the vertical installation of the GPU, but the adapter and the confirmation require a separate purchase. The configuration comprises three 120 mm fans: one Argb on the back panel of a maximum of 1100 RPMs and two RPM and two RPM and two RPM and two RPM and two RPM and two RPM and two RPM and two RPMM and two RPM and two rpm and two rpm and two rpm and two rpm and two rpm and two RPM00 RPM00.
The novelty is estimated at 220 euros (around 20,000 rubles), which is more than half of the standard Z10 (around 90 euros). The difference is explained by the presence of the screen, extra fans and an adapted front panel. For example, Z10 DS offers users to experiment with the configuration of the workspace, whereby the compactness of the case is combined with the functionality of two monitors. However, the choice of matrix technology and its parameters remains unknown.
