Sources in the vicinity of manufacturers of graphic adapters report that Nvidia introduces unspoken limitations on the publication of reviews of the new GeForce RTX 5060 TI video card with 8 GB of memory. According to the authors of the hardware unboxed YouTube channel, the company focuses on the promotion of the older model with 16 GB, which is the most important emphasis in the materials on the release day.
According to insiders, Nvidia partners were confronted with the inability to give samples of the younger version for independent tests. Despite the formal permission of the company, a number of manufacturers refer to technical delays or direct instructions in order not to distribute the devices until the official start of the sale. At the same time, a 16 Gigabyte model is already available for reviews that will appear on the network on 16 April.

Interestingly, the situation with RTX 5060 TI 8 GB is not only complicated by restrictions on testing, but also by the possible transfer of the date of the release. According to unconfirmed information, the release can be postponed for a week, although Nvidia has not yet commented on this data. Parallel to the Basic RTX 5060, without an index from the Ti Embargo index will be removed on 16 April, but the sale of this card only starts in May.
Experts note that such a strategy can create an imbalance in the perception of De Lijn: users receive complete information about the older model, while the youngest remains in the shade until the moment it appears in stores. This raises questions about the causes of this approach, especially against the background of the growing competition in the video card market.
