Omsk Avangard defeated Yaroslavl Lokomotiv in the fifth match of the second round of the playoffs of the Continent Hockey League (KHL).
The meeting held at the Arena-200000 Lokomotiv ended with the victory of the guests with 3: 2 points. The only disk in the first period was abandoned by Igor Martynov from Vanguard in 10 minutes. In the second segment, the teams exchanged the right shot twice: Omsk’s 26th minute Damir Sharipzyanov and Evgeny Kulik in the 38th minute and Lokomotiv-Maxim Berezkin and 39 minutes in the 39th minute.
The score in the series up to four victory was 3-2 in favor of Yaroslavl. The next meeting will be held on April 21 in Omsk.
In the first round, Lokomotiv won the playoffs with Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo with 4: 0 points and defeated Avangard Magnitogorsk Metallurg-4: 2.
