At the GDC 2025 conference, Google announced a large-scale integration of Android-Orger in the PC ecosystem. The most important surprise was the support of devices based on the AMD processors and video cards that were previously excluded from the Google Play Games for Windows. Now the owners of such computers can launch mobile games without the third party emulators.
Until now, the application is required by the Intel UHD 630 or Nvidia MX450 images, but now the AMD Radeon and Ryzen have received “Green Light”. For the convenience of users, a system for compatibility indicators has been introduced:
- “Optimized” – The game is adapted to PC;
- “Play” – works with basic settings;
- “Funeral” – errors are possible (available via the search).
The innovations include multi -accounting, parallel launch of different copies of games and synchronization of the progress between devices – functions that previously only characteristics for emulators such as Bluestacks. Google radically changes the distribution approach: all mobile games will automatically become available on PC if the makers do not disconnect the option in the settings. For Native PC projects, the Play Crossover program is launched, with which they can portray them on Android using a special SDK. The participants in the program receive up to 15% of the extra income as a result of cross -selling sale.

In 2025, Google will start concluding cooperation with PC manufacturers: ASUS, HP and Lenovo will pretend to be games on Windows devices, integrate service into the start menu. Users also wait for an updated interface with advanced control settings and a dynamic side panel for quick access to bonuses. In addition, the playing points loyalty program is now synchronized with a PC version and offers a 10-fold multiplier of points for performance in games. The accumulated points can be spent on discounts or intra -game purchases on both mobile devices and in the desktop version.
Experts predict that Google initiatives stimulate the growth of platform-dependent projects and strengthen Android positions as a universal game ecosystem. The first updates for AMD devices will be received in April 2025.
