Leaks reveal that even outside of high performance mode, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip consumes more than 20W of power and reaches a temperature of 98.5°C. However, the report states that it is not possible to reduce power consumption or cool the processor. The Gizmochina portal suggests that it is precisely because of this property of the chip that smartphones equipped with it will receive batteries with a capacity of more than 6,000 mAh.
