Newcastle and Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali has made his first appearance since serving a 10-month ban.
The player was in the starting line-up for the League Cup second round match against Nottingham Forest, where the Magpies drew 1:1 and won the penalty shoot-out 3:2. This was Tonali’s first match in 308 days.
