The 24-year-old player has scored 257 goals in 315 matches this century. Thus, he scores an average of 0.82 goals per match. For comparison, the world champion of the Argentine national team, eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi has an indicator of 0.78 – he has scored 838 goals in 1069 matches. Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won the Ballon d’Or five times, scored 897 goals in 1069 matches in the 21st century.
Erling Haaland was named the best player of the English Manchester City in the 2022/23 season. He played in 52 matches in all competitions, scoring 52 goals and making 9 assists. It is worth noting that this was the Norwegian player’s first season in the English Premier League (EPL).
