A half-naked man climbed the Eiffel Tower ahead of the closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics. This was reported by Telegram channel SHOT.
A shirtless man was seen in the middle of his journey, so visitors to the tower were not allowed outside for more than half an hour.
It is known that the man was detained before.
The closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympics will be held on August 11. The event will start at 21:30 Moscow time in the French capital. Athletes from Russia and Belarus, who compete in neutral status at the Games, allowed attend the closing ceremony.
Following the start of Russia’s SVO in Ukraine, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes and recommended that Federations not allow athletes from these countries to participate in international competitions. In December 2023, the IOC allowed athletes from Russia to participate in the 2024 Olympics, but only with neutral status and subject to a number of necessary conditions.
