CSKA’s new player tells how he’s afraid of moving to Russia 13:31

CSKA Moscow’s Malian forward Sekou Koita, who transferred to the army club in this summer’s transfer window, admitted that he is not afraid of moving to Russia. His words are a guide “Soviet sport”.

“No, I was not afraid to come here. The city is beautiful and big, I love it already. I feel good here, I feel safe. I didn’t have any stereotypes before the transition,” Koita said.

Koita joined the club as a free agent; the player has signed a contract until 2027. The forward will wear number 20.

Koita was playing for Austrian Red Bull Salzburg until recently; he has been playing for the team since 2019. He scored 43 goals and made 23 assists in 106 matches with the Salzburg Bulls. According to the authorized portal Transfermarkt, the football player’s market value is 4 million euros.

After three rounds in the Russian Premier League, CSKA is in third place in the standings, with seven points.
