American athlete Noah Lyles won the 100-meter sprint final at the Paris Olympics, beating his opponent by five thousandths of a second. This was reported by TASS.

Lyles, 27, is a six-time world champion and finished third in the 200 meters at the last Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The current world record for the 100 metres is held by Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, with a time of 9.58 seconds.
