Andrei Talalaev, head coach of Khimki near Moscow, reports that he does not exclude the possibility of former Spartak Moscow player Georgy Dzhikia being transferred to the club “Match TV”.
“We are looking for a central defender. If it comes to serious negotiations, the key word will be the football player himself. As in the case of Dziuba, Dzhikia either knows my phone number or can easily find it,” Talalaev said.
Dzhikia has been playing for Spartak since 2017. With the club he won the championship and the Russian Cup. The club officially announced his departure on 18 May. The next day, Jikia led the team onto the field with his captain’s armband and played 67 minutes with Rubin in the 29th round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
