Safonov’s ex-wife’s lawyer denied the information that the goalkeeper paid alimony 12:59

The ex-wife of the Russian national team goalkeeper, Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov Anastasia, did not receive late alimony payments from the football player. In this respect “Sports Express” said Maxim Shilov, a lawyer representing the girl’s interests.

“No, I cannot confirm. Anastasia did not receive any money. We learned from the Internet that the travel ban on Safonov was lifted,” the lawyer said.

Matvey is expected to sign a contract with Paris Saint-Germain this summer. At the same time, on June 7, it became known that Safonov was banned from leaving Russia due to alimony debt exceeding 60 million rubles. The ban came into force on June 6, when the goalkeeper was already in Minsk with the Russian national team and the team was playing a friendly match against the Belarusian national team. Safonov later returned to Russia.

PSG has not yet announced Safonov’s transfer. However, the head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, told reporters that the goalkeeper, who previously played for Krasnodar, successfully passed the medical examination at the Paris club.
