Kazakh Barys’ forward Vladislav Kodola shared his memories of his time playing for Severstal Cherepovets. In an interview legal betting He compared the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant to hell.
“When I played for Cherepovets, the team took us to factories and on trips. They took them deep into the blast furnaces. There is sheet metal and steel everywhere. Honestly, it felt like you were in hell. I can’t imagine staying there for long,” Kodola said.
He said that this job is very difficult, noting that it affects health. Kodola admitted he had “spooky” memories of visiting the facility. He also noted that he was impressed by the sooty “black” factory workers. “After the visit you think: I will try to play hockey,” the athlete said.
Vladislav Kodola played for Severstal from 2016 to 2022. During this period, he played 239 matches with the team and scored 85 (37+48) points. He later played for Dinamo Minsk and currently continues his career at Barys. A native of Gomel, Kodola played for the Russian national teams at different ages but moved to the Belarusian national team in 2020.
