Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol won a convincing victory over Malik Zinad at the boxing night in Saudi Arabia.
33-year-old St. The St. Petersburg native knocked out his opponent with a series of straight kicks in the sixth round, after which the referee decided to stop the fight. This victory was Bivol’s 23rd victory in his professional career.

Initially, Bivol was supposed to meet with Artur Beterbiev for the title of absolute world champion. The boxers were supposed to have a unification bout on June 1, but Beterbiev suffered a meniscus tear during training.

Bivol made his professional boxing debut in 2014. The boxer remains undefeated with 23 wins in 23 fights (12 by knockout) throughout his career. He won the World Martial Arts Games in 2013 and finished second at the Universiade. Bivol holds the World Boxing Association world title.
