The first training of Spartak Moscow players, led by Serbian specialist Dejan Stankovic, will take place on June 21 at the team’s base in Tarasovka. Information about this was published at: official website Red and white.
On June 18, Spartak players will undergo a comprehensive medical examination, followed by functional readiness tests. The players who are called to their national teams will then come to the club’s location.
Spartak announced on 16 May 2024 that Serbian Dejan Stankovic was appointed as the team’s head coach. Work will start from the 2024/25 season. A 2-year contract was signed with the coach. He replaced Vladimir Sliskovich, who served in this post after the dismissal of Guillermo Abascal.
Stankovic has previously coached Serbian Red Star (three-time gold medalist in the national championship), Hungary’s Ferencvaros (also led the team to the gold medal) and Italy’s Sampdoria.
During his football career, Stankovic became the Italian champion with Inter and Lazio and also won the Champions League.
