Former Spartak Moscow football player Valery Kechinov supported the decision of former red-white player Denis Glushakov to move to Armenian Urartu “Sports Express”.
“Playing in Russia at the moment didn’t work out for him, maybe he didn’t want to go to the first league. But the emergence of such an option means that for Denis this option is the right one,” Kechinov said.
On Tuesday, February 27, it was learned that Glushakov will continue his career in Armenian Urartu. The midfielder’s last club was Spartak Kostroma, which plays in the Second League. The contract was terminated by mutual consent of the parties in January 2024.
Glushakov played for Spartak Moscow from 2013 to 2019. He won the Russian Premier League (RPL) with the red and white team in the 2016/17 season.
After leaving Spartak, the midfielder signed a contract with Akhmat Grozny and in July 2020 moved to Khimki, near Moscow, where he played for a season and a half. Glushakov has 57 matches as a member of the Russian national team.
It was previously known that Glushakov caused I failed Screening in Rostov.
