Former Spartak Moscow midfielder Denis Glushakov can continue his career in the Armenian championship. This was reported by “Sports Express”.
According to the source, Urartu is interested in the former captain of the red-whites. The 37-year-old football player is expected to join the team soon.
The midfielder’s last club was Spartak Kostroma, which plays in the Second League. The contract was terminated by mutual consent of the parties in January 2024.
The midfielder played for Spartak Moscow from 2013 to 2019. He won the Russian Premier League (RPL) with the red and white team in the 2016/17 season.
After leaving Spartak, the midfielder signed a contract with Akhmat Grozny and in July 2020 moved to Khimki, near Moscow, where he played for a season and a half. Glushakov has 57 matches as a member of the Russian national team.
