Dynamo player repeats KHL record with most points in the regular season

Dinamo Moscow forward Nikita Gusev repeated the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) record by scoring the most points in a regular season. Before him, this success belonged only to Sergei Mozyakin.

On February 22, Dynamo beat Severstal with a score of 3:2 in a KHL regular season match. Gusev scored the goal. Thus, the striker scored his 85th point of the season, repeating the record set by Mozyakin in the 2016/17 season.

Gusev broke another KHL record this season; He had previously become the first league player to score 80 points in two regular championships (he scored 82 points in the 2018/2019 season).
