CSKA goalkeeper transferred to a foreign club

Andijan from Uzbekistan announced on his social networks that he transferred goalkeeper Maxim Sarraf from CSKA Moscow youth team.

“Andijan” continues its election work. This time, the Eagles are adding a goalkeeper with a bright future to their squad. The team was strengthened by Maxim Sarraf, who played for the CSKA youth team and played for the Syrian national team. “Maxim, welcome to the Andijan family,” the message read.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper was born in Moscow and has been playing in the CSKA youth football league since 2020. Maxim’s father, Philip, is Syrian: he came from Aleppo in 1982 to study at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and stayed in Russia. The goalkeeper has Russian and Syrian citizenship.

Sarraf made his debut with the Syrian youth team in 2022 in the match against Jordan on 18 December. He was called to the Syrian national team for the first time in 2023. Later, the goalkeeper was included in the national team’s squad for the Asian Cup, which ends in February 2024.
