FTR Chairman Tarpishchev does not see a tragedy in the defeat of Medvedev in the final of the tournament in Halle

Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) President Shamil Tarpishchev commented on the defeat of the world’s first racket, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, in the final of the ATP-500 tournament held in Halle. TASS.

In the final of the tournament, on 13 June, Medvedev, the world’s first racket, faced Hubert Hurkach and lost devastatingly in two sets with scores of 1:6, 4:6. It is noteworthy that the tennis player lost the fifth final in a row.

“I prepared in the middle in the second set, but the train had already moved, Hurkach’s reception was always good and he also hit everything. There is no tragedy in that, I think Danya’s turf season is going well so far, it’s great if she plays in Mallorca as a whole, ”Tarpishchev said.

Medvedev will participate in the tournament in Mallorca. It started on June 19, and the world’s first racket will start from the second round, where another Russian Aslan Karatsev will be his opponent.

Alexei Selivanenko, formerly Vice-President of the Russian Tennis Federation shared Daniil Medvedev’s coach, Gilles Servara, is of the opinion that he left the pitch against Hubert Hurkach in the final match of the tournament, played in Halle.
