New York Rangers’ Russian forward Artemy Panarin achieved a unique success in the history of the club in the match against the Seattle Kraken in the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The meeting took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. At the end of the second period, the score was 4:1 in favor of the home team. Panarin made an assist. The 32-year-old forward became the second Russian to score 60 points in the NHL season.
Panarin also became the first player in Rangers history to record 60 points in 43 games or fewer in at least two seasons since the start of the regular season.
Panarin played in 43 games in the NHL this season, scoring 27 goals and making 33 assists.
Panarin has been playing for the New York Rangers since 2019. He previously played in the National Hockey League for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks.
