Medical and Dame University of Moscow (MGMSU) proposed to use a carrier for a turmeric mouth during homemade photodynamic treatment to combat inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and smell mouth. This “Gazeta.ru” was told in MGMSU.
Gum diseases cause increased tissue sensitivity, pain, unpleasant odor, loss of tooth, and other most negative consequences. Antiseptic and antimicrobial drugs are used in the treatment. There are a few difficulties here. If drugs are frequently used in large amounts, useful microorganisms have imbalance. Other drugs have side effects. The effectiveness of antibiotics decreases due to the emergence of resistant excitement bacteria.
To combat these problems, scientists developed a photodynamic treatment method using a special cover with LEDs built. The method is based on the complex effect of light, oxygen and photocenensite – substances that increase the sensitivity of tissues to exposure to light.
MGMSU scientists developed technology by suggesting to use a cover with a Curcumin and a Rinquist based on Toluidi, which reduced the procedure to 20 minutes. The procedure does not require washing – after brushing your teeth, it is enough to rinse your mouth, spit the composition and activate it immediately with a lid. It is recommended to use the covers with the course within 7-14 days.
Kurkumin itself also has strong antiseptic properties. It rapidly penetrates the affected cells and bacteria, fungal and virus cells. When it is activated with light, only a photographer -accumulating cells are produced active oxygen forms that kill cells. Thus, healthy tissues are untouchable and infected people die.
