Former football player and current blogger and president of the Krasava football club Evgeniy Savin responded to criticism from a subscriber.
“You are now a blogger and you have turned your back on Russia. I am proud to protect my country from evil spirits and neo-Nazis. The victory will be ours. “And you sold yourself to America and NATO as Western Ukraine,” said Savin, posting a screenshot of messages from a subscriber and adding that he expected similar messages to continue.
Evgeniy Savin had previously published a video with Ukrainian football players on his YouTube channel. In this issue, Andrei Yarmolenko, Dario Srna, Andrei Voronin, Vitaly Mikolenko and Alexander Aliev explained their views on Russia’s special operation. Shortly after this, Savin’s club was banned from training in Krasnogorsk, after which he decided to leave Russian territory.
He moved to Cyprus and entered the second league of the local championship with the team of the same name.
He was accused of committing public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). It later became clear that the court fined Savin 50 thousand rubles.
